Confidentiality & non-disclosure

Most employees, customers and competitors do not know a business is for sale — and a leak can damage the company before a transaction ever closes. Confidentiality is not a formality here.

For sellers

  • Listings are published as blind profiles: industry, region, size and story. No company name, no address, nothing identifying.
  • Buyers accept a confidentiality agreement and are qualified before anything specific is released.
  • We do not contact your employees, customers, suppliers or lenders. Buyers agree not to either — every approach goes through us.
  • You decide what is released and when. Financial detail, the confidential information memorandum and any site visit all happen on your instruction.

For buyers

  • Accepting the agreement takes one form and about a minute. It records your name, the date, time and IP address, and a hash of the exact wording you agreed to.
  • You may share information with your own advisors, lenders and financing sources — provided they are told about the obligation and accept it. You remain responsible for them.
  • The agreement is mutual in spirit and standard in the industry. Your own attorney is welcome to review it.

Data handling

  • Everything is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on our own server, not a third-party CRM.
  • Inquiry data is never sold, never shared with foreign entities and never used for unsolicited marketing.
  • Public forms are protected by a hidden-field trap, a signed timing check, a challenge question and a country check. Blocked attempts are logged, not delivered.
  • You can request deletion of your information at any time.
